Most tree companies describe themselves the same way. What actually tells you about a company is what its customers write when nobody asked them to.

Ours write about speed. Somebody calls with a tree that has to come down, and Eddie — the owner — is at the property that afternoon, often within the hour. One customer described calling and having a crew at her house in fifteen minutes. Another had lightning split a trunk over his roof and had our crew working until dark that same evening so his family could sleep.

They write about price. Over and over: quoted below five other companies, half of what the others wanted, thirty thousand dollars quoted elsewhere for a job we handled for a fraction. We would rather be the company that gets the next three jobs on your street than the one that maximized a single invoice.

And they write about cleanup. Not a twig out of place. Yard raked like the crew was never there. Gates locked, doors closed, neighbors' property protected. One customer mentioned a sapling planted in memory of his mother that he had never told us about — the crew noticed it and put a marker stick beside it so nobody would step on it.

What we actually do

Tree, stump and shrub pruning and removal, storm and emergency response, lot clearing, commercial and property management work, and the interior, exterior and structural demolition services listed on our Google Business Profile. Twelve services in total, all detailed on our services page.

The work that defines us is hazardous tree removal. Dead ash that cannot be climbed. Hundred-and-twenty-five-foot dead cottonwoods leaning out over a river. A tree wedged against a garage in Detroit that two other companies had already declined. Those jobs need the right equipment, real rigging experience, and a crew that plans before it cuts.

How we work

Free on-site estimate, written scope so nothing is a surprise, protection for everything staying, controlled sectional takedown rather than felling, and a full cleanup with a walkthrough before the truck leaves. On the tight lots that define Downriver and the older Detroit neighborhoods, that method is not a preference — it is the only way a tree comes out without damaging something.

We carry insurance and we hand you the certificate before work begins. You should require that of anyone running a saw on your property.

Where we work

Downriver is home — Southgate, Wyandotte, Taylor, Lincoln Park, Trenton, Grosse Ile and the rest of the river communities. From there we cover western Wayne County, Detroit and the Grosse Pointes, southern Oakland County, the Macomb lakeshore and south into Monroe and Washtenaw. That is 41 communities, with no distance surcharge anywhere in the service area.
