Here we do more land clearing, more woodlot management, more fence line work and more large old trees on acreage than anywhere else we serve. Properties frequently run to several acres with genuine forest on the back half.
Real woodlots and Huron River bottomland
The upland woodlots in Huron Township carry good hardwood — white and red oak, shagbark hickory, black cherry, sugar maple and some genuinely old trees that were never cleared for farming. Along the Huron River and in the low ground, it shifts to silver maple, cottonwood, sycamore, swamp white oak and green ash.
Invasive pressure is heavy on any parcel that has been left alone. Common buckthorn and autumn olive have taken over field edges and old pasture across much of the township, and once established they form thickets dense enough that you cannot walk through them. Clearing that is a real job requiring a plan, not just a chainsaw and a Saturday.
Where we work in Huron Township
We work throughout the township and New Boston — the residential areas near Huron High School and the village, the parcels along Huron River Drive and Waltz Road, the properties near Willow Metropark and Oakwoods Metropark, and the acreage toward Sumpter and Ash Township.
On larger parcels we will walk the whole property with you rather than just looking at the one tree. There is usually more going on — a fence line grown in, a woodlot edge full of dead ash, a drainage course that has closed up.

Equipment that suits acreage
Clearing a half-acre of buckthorn or taking out a dozen dead ash along a woodlot edge is a different scale of job from a suburban removal. It needs the right equipment and a realistic plan for the material.
We handle both and we will tell you honestly whether hand cutting or a forestry mower makes more sense for what you are dealing with. On a large parcel that choice is most of the budget.
What customers say
From our 80 Google reviews. These are customers from across our Michigan service area rather than Huron Township specifically — we do not put words in anyone's mouth about where they live.
“I could not be more satisfied. I had a large tree and stump removed. I got several estimates and they came in at 1/2 the cost of other estimates. Team and owner were knowledgeable and very friendly. I would strongly recommend them to anyone.”
“I needed a tree removed ASAP, I took a chance and called this company and they were out to my house in 15 minutes. I don't normally write reviews but you hear so many bad things about companies I just had to write this review. Paul and his crew came out and removed my tree and cleaned up so nicely and so quick I couldn't believe my eyes. I HIGHLY recommend this company.”
